Identity | Branding | Advertising Cotch Condos is a luxury condo building in Vancouver that offers 1-3 bedrooms, amazing amenities and exciting downtown living. The condo is targeted for young adults that wish to enjoy downtown life and a social atmosphere with tenants in the building. The name is based off of a UK slang term “cotch” which means to relax. Combining the “C” and “O” in the logo indicates that the condo encourages tenants to socialize together. The branding and advertising campaign is consistent throughout so it is widely recognized with their duo-tone design. Cotch Condos advertising is mostly done through social media and outdoor like bus stops, subway stations and billboards. For example, their Instagram profile page must be eye-catching and consistent so viewers want to click on photos and get more information about the company.

Logo of the company was changed so that the company could potentially expand outside of just seafood. If you haven’t noticed but the actual Fanny Bay shore outline is hidden in the new logo. A focus on sea creatures associates the brand with the seafood industry, British Columbia, and the oceans and seas in general, as a reinforcement of the product and the restaurant's commitment to sourcing only the freshest and best food. For the advertising campaign, the creative solution of fun humour, text and hand-rendered line illustration crafts a more humane visual for Fanny Bay in order to connect with their audience.
