THE GOAL for this establishment is to showcase a fun, daring, yet intimate and eclectic space for all users to enjoy-, through flair, culture and personality in design. Taking inspiration from Japanese philosophy “seijaku’ and craftsmanship form & function, brings a calmness and tranquility to the community, through Integration of scenes for both day and night. Reflecting on craftsman Architecture, the element of rectangular forms and shapes will be prominent in executing the overall vision of a modern Chishatsu. Providing a neutral palette for the foundation, this allows for focal points to come alive in the space- Taking expression from Mount Fuji’s mountainous sunset haze and aurora borealis sky lights. Utilizing the columns in the given space to its advantage, will provide the perfect canvas for an accent feature wall, structural built ins and strategically placed material accents in accordance with the sun’s orbit, for an inclusive, relaxing ambience. By creating an immersive space where all users may sit back and put everyday's chaos on pause.

Being inspired by Japanese and Brutalism architecture, deep within nature, allows for this home to create its own identity. Honing in to the more traditional roots, the moonlight feeds the home of natural light at night, where the sun creates art forms in its own, the space will be a connection with self to nature. Function meets form, with raw intentions in each space. Simple is more, as each material has a story to be told; imperfections to harmonize the balance between the soft light and hard edges, offering an authenticity and gentle approach to this family- friendly sleek minimalistic design. “Wabi-sabi” is a Japanese translation in finding beauty in imperfection. Wabi refers to living with humility and simplicity while being at one with nature, while sabi is defined as the ability to accept the lifecycle of anything as it is—flaws and all.

To design a second oasis away from home; where a sense of community and unity is present thus creating multiple different layers and zones of activity workflow to offer opportunity for all creative outlets for all users. it is important to create a pet-friendly space by adding an ambiance through diverse, flexible spaces. where every employee’s talents and ideas are utilized to their fullest potential through transitional zones for optimal workflow in a balanced atmosphere, we feel we will fully execute the true meaning behind InMoodDesign philosophy. The space will be a complete reflection of all employees, taking pride and joy in the individuality and talents that each member has to offer, where the design never strives to overshadow, but further enhance and uplift those who walk through the doors
