PROJECT CONCEPT: A private retreat. Thoughtfully designed, this contemporary two story home is located in a sought-after lake community. Each of the four bedrooms has its own full bath and a home office on the main level. Luxurious finishes were selected from top to bottom. The top level consists of a large bonus/media room. The master bedroom has an ensuite and walk in closet. Additional features include 9’ ceilings, beautiful covered front porch, and an expansive backyard. This premium location is directly across from a park, every window view looks out onto rolling hills and woodland areas, with walking paths that lead to the lake, and a short walk to local amenities. Conceptualised to capture a calming interior with clean lines and organic tones, placing an importance on natural light, balance and flow. Integrating a timeless design with a contepmorary aesthetic.

PROJECT CONCEPT: Introducing a new vision for a hotel; designed to activate and amplify the human senses. We seek out North to orient ourselves within landscapes, climates, cultures, and communities. Designed with the use of sustainable and natural materials, a contemporary hotel inspired by Nordic and Scandinavian architecture and design. A quiet space to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. A space to rejuvenate and find calm. A harmonious synergy between nature, architecture and human connection. An inner-city retreat. Located in the new build proposed by RNDSQR, located on the main street of 9th street in Inglewood, Calgary.

PROJECT CONCEPT: Vitality Health Centre aims to provide a mental and physical space for patients and families affected by mental health, inclusive of anxiety, depression, PTSD, as well as disorder eating, autism and substance abuse. Located in Inglewood, Calgary with proximity to the natural wildlands and Bird Sanctuary, this facility will occupy both a therapy and care unit while also accommodating research/clinical trials and office spaces for health care professionals. This allows for patients to receive not only essential support but also well-educated care and assistance. To cultivate a supportive environment, the design must uphold an encouraging atmosphere. Natural materials, direct access to green surroundings, and abundant natural light, combined to create a warm and comforting atmosphere. This will bring in an essence of the biological exterior world, which allows patients to feel grounded. Balancing a warm and unsaturated colour palette with a simplified curvilinear layout, will aid the psychological rest of the patient while also simplifying the interior for ease of way finding.   By designing with a minimalist and sustainable approach, patients will not be over stimulated and can feel comfortable finding independence throughout the space. Throughout all areas of the centre-therapy and counselling rooms, café and leisure spaces- designing for inclusion will be the leading factor, harmonizing with an inviting colour concept and simplistic spatial layout. A hopeful and reliable environment.
