A couple in their mid-40’s with two children who are 16 and 20 recently purchased an old house with an Airbnb. The husband is a lawyer and the wife is an artist that mostly focuses on painting and photography. They love to entertain and cook food for their friends. The couple currently would like to renovate the Airbnb. Renovating the two story home is something they would like to do in the future. They would like to use the Airbnb for business or just as an extra area to have guests. There is a coastal view on the west side of the lot so the couple would like to use that area to keep the guests entertained in the Airbnb.

Shawn Hill and Jalen Hill recently purchased a twenty plus year old Beach House which they would like to consider their “forever home”. The house sits on a large property that is not only perfect for their two golden retrievers, Waffles and Noodles, but also great for inviting guests over. The couple enjoy entertaining people especially when it’s Christmas, they have a minimum of twenty-five people coming per year during the holiday. However, due to how old this house is, they would like to give it an upgrade. The couple would like to have a modern style introduced in their home. With that they would also like to include natural and organic/biophilic elements into the design. Finally, they would enjoy having a monochromatic color palette throughout the space.

INMood Design is a furniture company that sells a variety of residential furniture to their clients. The team of forty does not just sell furniture, they also take the time to create many furniture items such as coffee tables, chairs, and more. INMood has a website that is easily accessible for anyone to be able to find what they need and purchase. The company takes pride in their sense of unity. There is no hierarchy, and everyone gets a long with each other very well. Not only do they work well together, they also like to keep their team inspired. These factors helped the company produce award-winning furniture for many to see. Future plans for INMood include branching out to help many more customers feel comfortable while purchasing furniture.

Amina Arwad recently purchased a home in Vancouver, BC on 8064 Buscombe St. Amina is a doctor who has a husband that is a business man, they also have recently adopted a cat. The couple live a relatively quiet life, however on rare occasions when they do have guests, they only invite around 1-2 people. Just in case the guests have to sleep over they would like the guest bedroom and guest bathroom to be accessibly friendly for any users. Other than that, they both typically are at their workplaces, so they wouldn’t mind having a small office space that they can both share and take turns using. The couple’s hobbies include reading; therefore, it would be preferred if they had a small section in their house dedicated to reading. Another hobby the couple enjoy is gardening and being outside, they would like to have an area in their backyard where they can grow some plants, as well as be able to sit outdoors and have picnics.

Lia Thompson is a 24 year old who graduated from university with a bachelor’s degree in business. She recently purchased a lot in Chilliwack, BC in which she wants to turn into a coffee/study cafe. Growing up, she was inspired by her mother’s love of gardening therefore she wants her shop to be inspired by nature. So, she came to the conclusion and decided to name her shop “Café Des Fleurs” which means “Cafe of the Flowers”. Thompson hopes to one day in the future expand her business by having more cafes around different locations.
