Being inspired my be creative lettering and simple shapes to create images this letter landscape seemed like the perfect next project. This series started as a daily lettering challenge that morphed into completing a whole alphabet. This series includes the same color pallet across all images and every landscape included is from a different place. Though there are some human objects such as houses or bridges you will notice there is no actual humans in them. Each letter was designed to still feel like there is movement and depth whilst being able to keep out living people. Each image guides you through it by the shapes and the gestault principal of negative space so your eye will add details in the negative space of each image. Using Illustrator and sometimes even Photoshop I kept the same color pallet added gradients between key colors to help with the curve of shadows. Keeping a light source in mind I created further depth by selectively adding grain and gaussian blur to elevate letter to the next level.

Ever since I was young I have watched my family, friends and myself be told by society and others that our bodies are not good enough. It is through this campaign I was able to vocalize the idea to embrace and love yourself. To not listen to the people telling you to be thinner or different. This Campaign is a rebellious response to those people. In this Series I have focused on three images of different body types. Using both the gestault principal of negative space and the drawing technique of shadow contour Drawing I was able to present a different view of each of these womens bodies. Showing off every wrinkle, stretch mark and bump so your eye will finish the image without having any lines that actually outline the shape. It was Important to give these pieces the rebellious feel to society that they where meant for which includes a graffiti style font that doesn’t follow any of the standard fonts or rules you will see in advertising. It was also important to add a texture to the background so that the bodies didn’t look so smooth and polished.

Stay Classy is a Motion graphic I created to demon straight how to make a logo and lettering more interesting. Starting out with a light outline that goes around the letters to give you the a glimpse of what the word is going to be before the word starts getting colors mixing into the final logo. Using after effects and different effects I allowed there to be some surprise and anticipation. Creating anticipation and suspense it important to keep the viewer engaged by them not knowing whats going to happen next.
