Mike’s Komputer Store needs to become a brand that provides the needs of their target market by showing they are not just about a wide variety of products but can great offer assistance as well. The first step is making a strong website since it can provide information about the different products and services that they offer. Second, choosing a design direction that shows care, services, and trust that will help the brand based on who and what they want to become – by using promotional materials for employees and loyal customers. And lastly, creating advertisements that will help the brand become stronger and recognized for the product and services they offer.
Vigor is a fictitious energy drink company. It produces energy drinks that give it’s consumers more energy and strength to do their physical work. Vigor is an energy drink company that needs to show strength, courage, energy, and competitiveness through its brand and packaging; the packaging must leave a great impact on its target market and the brand must release different flavours for their market to choose from. Vigor has to create promotional materials and advertisements to build more brand awareness In order to strengthen Vigor’s brand and packaging, the company must showcase a design direction that builds on strength, courage, and competitiveness. The logo of Vigor will show a Greek gladiator to represent strength and competitiveness while the packaging will show a Greek pattern in correlation to the logo. Using Greek warriors will represent people who are into physical sports, which is the company’s target market. The brand will use yellow and red since they are associated with passion, food, sports, and energy. To create more brand awareness, Vigor will create sport accessories such as caps, t-shirts, hoodies and make advertisements as well.
Aggressive Tune is a magazine that produces musical contents. It talks about music, history, and interesting facts about musicians and their work. Aggressive Tunes needs to have a brand that will represent the said industry by producing articles, advertisements, and content that are mainly about music, creativity, and hard work. The branding and design elements of publication that needs to be shown in Aggressive Tune to have a correlation with who they see and what they are about. To tell what Aggressive Tunes are all about, the elements must contain the genre they showcase. The goal of the design elements of the whole publication is to tell people that its all about the metal genre by using photos, style, and layout: display font represents aggressive with the color red for the font and black and white for the images will represent the metal genre (or industry)‘s passion, aggressiveness, and entertainment.
The following posters are for different theatre plays that will be shown in York Theatre. The posters are “Macbeth” by William Shakespeare, “The Crucible by Anthony Miller, and “The Ones We Leave Behind” by Loretta Seto. All the plays have different stories and mood which are a good opportunity for me to use different illustration methods. The goal of this project is to showcase my illustrations and how I apply them in graphic design.

Pappa Roti’s current brand works for them but there is more that can be done for them. Pappa Roti must add a design direction that represents diversity and expressions while maintaining the friendliness, as well as making the bun’s colours as the brand colour since it is the main product of the company, and will use a script typeface in their logo. To make the brand look friendlier, the logo will include a character: a smiling middle-aged Malaysian baker since Pappa Roti originated in Malaysia. By creating a pattern for packaging and creating a roti bun competition and ad campaigns that will be posted on the company’s website, it shows the expression part of Pappa Roti.
