Hello, Bonjour! I’m an extremely dedicated and resourceful fashion designer with in-depth knowledge and skills learned over my 30 years in fashion. I have a solid working knowledge in pattern making and constructing garments and I specialize in working with beaded and other couture textiles. CELO MODE will represent a new vision of the way to unify all women of all shapes colors, ethnicity, value, culture, and background. The brand will show a young woman her identity and confidence in herself.

My inspiration for these looks is a Tropical Paradise. Being born in the Democratic Republic of Congo these ideas are a part of who I am. The feelings I get from the beauty of the ocean, the bright flowers and the fresh fruit helped me put these ideas together. I love the idea because it helps my deal with the feelings I have when I miss Congo and think of all the things I used to love from back home. The Tropical Paradise is forever in my heart and it will always show in my art.​

Clothing construction refers to the stitching of garments and all the sewing techniques involved in the process. Every choice and detail: pockets, seams, seam finishes, zippers, facings, linings, interfacings, closures and hems, as well as a good understanding of fabric are all intertwined.
