The purpose of this project was to redesign the visual identity of a famous brand. I chose Lego, one of the most recognizable toy brands on the planet. Lego’s current logo is bland and lacks colour and natural symbolism. I wanted to modernize the logo to fit the brand’s contemporary ideologies and be more eye-catching. I began by drawing up some rough sketches of suitable replacements. Then, I took my drawings into Adobe Illustrator to digitalize them. After, I added colour and decided on my final rendition. Finally, I created a new brand guide and stationery package in connection with the logo. The results are modern, simplistic, colourful, and practical.

This box and display design is original work and was created using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Dimension. This assignment aims to develop an engaging box and display design for a granola company. Granola bars are a popular snack amongst hikers, rock climbers, winter athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts. Therefore, I wanted my design to target that audience. My box was designed in a die-cut template and featured a new logo, a blue trim, and a black and white photo of the rocky mountains. A challenge during this project is that Canadian food packaging must include English and French text and markings; therefore, my box design needed to remain identical while accommodating both languages. My display’s design reflects the packaging design; thus; it stands out from other displays. I achieved all my goals and design challenges.

This advertising campaign targets social media users who desire high-quality clothing that supports the environment and its sustainability. The campaign promotes that the company plants ten trees for each product purchased. Created with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, the social media ads are simplistic and blend nicely with the brand’s theme. Furthermore, each ad has a different background colour and shares identical body text. Finally, Tentree’s logo was added as an identifier and space filler. The results were easy-to-identify, cohesive ads.

The purpose of this project was to redesign the visual identity of a famous brand. I chose SanDisk, a known name in consumer electronics, precisely data solutions. In 2021 SanDisk rebranded to its current logo. The current logo has modern typography and an abstract shape design. However, it is barely recognizable due to its lack of colour and abstract shape, which has no symbolism to the company. I began by drawing up some rough sketches of suitable replacements. I then brought those drawings into Adobe Illustrator to vectorize and clean them up. I chose a minimalist colour palette and selected the final version of the logo. The final step was to create a new sophisticated brand guide and stationery package.
