Seabirds Kitchen The idea behind it all: Seabirds Kitchen is one of the very few vegan/vegetarians eateries in Long Beach, California. While Under The Sun Cafe was the first and for a long time, the only vegan eatery in Long Beach, they do not offer the full menu that Seabirds Kitchen does (they serve mainly juices). The Grain Cafe would be Seabirds Kitchen main competitor in the community, as they also serve similar menus, with similar pricing. What makes Seabirds Kitchen stand out? The funky aesthetic, the selections of vegan crafted beers, and the overall ambiance. The mural created by Brooklyn artist Kevin Lyons, makes the restaurant a must-see for anyone passing by.
