The objective of this project was to create a packaging design that reflects these values and resonates with the brand's target audience. The logo is a central element of the design and is a harmonious blend of geometric shapes and leafy patterns. The geometric shape, clean and modern, represents the brand's forward-thinking approach to fashion. With its boho flair, the leafy pattern reflects the brand's love for nature and its commitment to sustainability. The background features a leafy boho pattern, adding a touch of whimsy and reinforcing the brand's eco-friendly ethos. The design's clean lines ensure that the logo stands out, while the boho elements add a touch of personality and charm. The colour palette was carefully chosen to reflect the brand's commitment to nature and sustainability. Using earthy tones and natural hues creates a sense of harmony and balance, reinforcing the brand's eco-conscious message. The "Mother May I?" clothing boxes are more than just packaging. They are a reflection of the brand's identity, a testament to the power of design in communicating brand values, and a tool for creating a memorable unboxing experience for the customers.

As part of my Advertising Development course, I had the opportunity to revamp "The London" building into a stunning apartment complex. The goal was to create a brand that would appeal to our target audience, showcase the unique features of the apartments, and give the property a fresh new look. Join me as I take you through the amazing journey of concept development and graphic design behind "The Haven"! Concept Development: To start off, I dived into extensive research to understand our target market, analyze the competition, and stay up-to-date with industry trends. Drawing inspiration from the findings, I developed a compelling brand concept: "urban oasis." The idea was to position "The Haven" as a peaceful sanctuary in the midst of the city, offering residents a luxurious and serene living experience. This concept was driven by values such as elegance, tranquility, and modernity, which guided me throughout the entire branding process. Graphic Design Process: Next, I embarked on the exciting graphic design journey, starting with the creation of an eye-catching logo for "The Haven." I experimented with various designs until I found the perfect one that captured the essence of the brand. The logo showcased clean lines, sophisticated typography, and a symbol that symbolized a tranquil oasis. To enhance the visual appeal, I carefully selected a color palette featuring different shades of blue, creating a sense of calmness and sophistication. Building on the logo, I ventured into designing a range of brand collateral. From business cards to letterheads, brochures, and even digital assets like social media graphics and a user-friendly website, I aimed for consistency and a cohesive visual identity. Every design element was meticulously crafted to align with the established visual language, making a strong impact and leaving a lasting impression. But I didn't stop there! I also took on the exciting challenge of creating environmental graphics for "The Haven." From striking signage to intuitive wayfinding elements and even interior decor, I aimed to transform the physical space into an immersive brand experience. The goal was to make residents and visitors feel fully immersed in the world of "The Haven," where elegance and tranquility seamlessly merged.

The design journey began with a deep understanding of the product - a delicious granola bar with the indulgent twist of chocolate-covered strawberries. The goal was to create a packaging design that not only encapsulates the product's unique selling proposition but also resonates with the target consumers. The color palette was carefully chosen to reflect the product's flavors. The dominant colors, pink and brown, represent the strawberries and chocolate respectively. These colors were not only chosen for their relevance to the product but also for their ability to stand out on the shelves and attract consumer attention. The packaging design features a playful strawberry pattern, further emphasizing the strawberry flavor and adding a touch of whimsy to the design. This pattern, combined with the bold colors, creates a visually appealing design that is both eye-catching and informative. The logo, a shaft of wheat, was designed to reflect Bar Appetit's commitment to wholesome, natural ingredients. The logo's color scheme, a blend of pink and brown, ties it seamlessly into the overall packaging design and reinforces the product's chocolate and strawberry flavors. This packaging design project for Bar Appetit's Chocolate Covered Strawberry Granola Bar is more than just a design task. It's a strategic approach to product marketing, using design elements to communicate the product's unique selling points and appeal to the target consumers.

"Cuisinery Magazine," a food-themed publication that takes readers on a culinary journey through the Jewish feast of Passover. Created fully in Adobe InDesign, this issue is a testament to the transformative power of food and culture, blending gourmet interpretations of traditional dishes with personal narratives. The theme for this issue is deeply personal, drawing from my formative years spent in the Middle East. Israeli culture and cuisine have significantly shaped my identity, and this issue of "Cuisine Magazine" is my tribute to that influence. The publication not only discusses the cultural significance of Passover but also its culinary aspects and how Israeli cooking has impacted my life. The first feature, "Israel, There and Back again", presents a personally curated Passover menu, complete with accompanying recipes. This feature not only focuses on Passover but also on Middle Eastern food in general, reflecting my upbringing in Israel. The second feature, "Passover: A Culinary Memoir", delves into the reasons behind the choice of recipes featured in this year's menu. It provides a detailed account of my personal experiences prepping, cooking, and plating these dishes, and how living in Israel for most of my formative years influenced my culinary journey. The magazine is enriched with personal photographs from my Passover celebration this year, which fell on April 15th. These images, along with pictures from my time living in Israel, provide a visual journey to accompany the narratives and recipes. The project draws inspiration from renowned food publications like "Food Network Canada" and "Food & Wine". The blend of recipes, personal narratives, and culinary tips in these magazines has guided the content and layout of "Cuisinery Magazine"

The first poster, titled "Julius Caesar", is a visual exploration of one of Shakespeare's most profound tragedies. The design is dominated by dark hues, creating an atmosphere of foreboding that echoes the play's themes of ambition, betrayal, and moral downfall. The central image, the head of Caesar, serves as a stark symbol of Caesar's tragic end and the bloody consequences of political ambition. This poster is designed to evoke a sense of intrigue and anticipation, drawing in viewers who appreciate Shakespeare's exploration of political power and human frailty. The second poster, titled "Henry V: The Dawn of Victory", takes a completely different approach. Inspired by the heroic tale of King Henry V, the design is light, airy, and relaxed, reflecting the play's themes of leadership, victory, and national pride. The dominant colours are bright and beachy, evoking a sense of summer and the hopeful spirit of a new day. The central image, the king himself shaped into a shore, adds a touch of symbolism, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the inspiring journey of King Henry V. These "Bard on the Beach" posters are more than just promotional materials. They are a testament to the power of design in capturing the essence of Shakespeare's works and enticing viewers to experience the magic of live theatre.

"The Clockmaker's Cat," a digital illustration crafted in Adobe Illustrator. This piece is a testament to the fusion of traditional painting techniques with the precision of modern digital tools. The journey began with a rough concept sketch, outlining the cat, the clock tower, and the village. This stage was pivotal in setting the spatial relationships and the overall tone of the piece. The painting process was a dance between Adobe Illustrator's extensive range of brushes and my vision. The cat, our protagonist, was brought to life with attention to detail, capturing the texture of its fur and the gleam in its eyes. The clock tower, a symbol of time, was crafted with precision, its intricate details showcasing the capabilities of vector graphics. The colour palette, a vibrant blend of purple, pink, and orange tones, was chosen to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The gradient tool was instrumental in creating a smooth transition between these colours, mimicking the soft glow of a setting sun. The village below, a bustling community, was created using a combination of geometric shapes and freehand drawing. Each house was individually designed, contributing to the sense of a lively community. "The Clockmaker's Cat" is more than just a digital art piece. It's a narrative, a story told through art, inviting viewers to delve into the story it tells, and to find their own meaning in the cat's watchful gaze over the village below.
