A grapefruit juice company works out of an old shipping warehouse, juicing and bottling the drink themselves. The props were mainly modelled in Maya, with the grapefruit being sculpted in ZBrush and retopologized in Maya. Textures were done in Substance Painter, and the scene was finally put together, lit, and rendered in Blender.

An abandoned bioweapons lab built in a repurposed atrium. This lab was once used by the company Symbio to create advanced weaponry using the excretions from alien larvae. An abandoned bioweapons lab built in a repurposed atrium. This lab was once used by the company Symbio to create advanced weaponry using the excretions from alien larvae. Since then, it has been run down and corroded by the acidic larvae secretions. The walls and floors were built to be modular and reusable, as with the panels and pipes. Tiling textures were used...

An abandoned bioweapons lab built in a repurposed atrium. This lab was once used by the company Symbio to create advanced weaponry using the excretions from alien larvae. Since then, it has been run down and corroded by the acidic larvae secretions. The walls and floors were built to be modular and reusable, as with the panels and pipes. Tiling textures were used for the modular pieces, with unique textures being used for the props and other set pieces. Modelling, UVing, and animation/rigging for the larva was done in Maya, and texturing was done using Substance 3D Painter and Designer. The scene was then assembled in Unreal Engine 5, utilizing lumen, virtual textures, and movie render queue. Master materials were created for the different shading models and then instanced, and material layering was used to blend copper and corrosion on the walls and pipes.
