This single-family dwelling is designed with authentic, natural materials such as charred wood, brick, and exposed concrete wall finish. The wood is used throughout the interior and exterior of large window buffers and walls. This dwelling is designed with two floors, with various uses. The ground floor consists of a living room, kitchen, and dining with an outdoor lanai, office, and a two-car garage. And the second floor consists of mostly bedroom units with large open family areas and balconies facing the riverside.

The design concept for this house is more likely a farmhouse style because of the use of contemporary lines and simplistic features. The exterior façade is faced with bricks to give an aesthetic design to the house. The farmhouse style has been a popular home design for a long time. And from the old days, they used front porches as one of the architectural elements of this style and are very useful in modern design until now. ​For this kind of house design, windows are integrated with each side of the house. This house also uses big windows to enhance natural light coming inside the house. A high ceiling is also one of the features of this style, where the ceilings are much higher than usual.
