Portfolio Animation 1

Over the course of several weeks, Daniel had been hard at work creating projects for a portfolio / demo reel by the time that graduation came around. This is the first of two animations. Using techniques from the program at VCAD, this brought to life a project that involved the use of advanced maya lighting techniques and animation workflows while going off of refe...

Zombie Animation

The focus for this animation was to bring to life an idea from a simple prompt. Daniel took it one step further and had focused more on the storytelling aspect of the assignment, as well as pushing the limits of animating without a reference to go off of.

Walk Cycle (Night)

A week before grad, and one final animation to add to my portfolio. Created in Maya, with a focus on scene creation, lighting, rendering and animation cycles.

Walk Cycle (Sassy)

Another one of the very first animations created during the Game Development and Design course at the Visual College of Art and Design. The animation was successfully done using reference provided by the teacher.

Performance Animation

With heavy inspiration from the online game "League of Legends," and following the provided reference, Daniel created and rendered a scene that fit with the animation.

Baseball Throw Animation

One of the first animations created while at VCAD. With a major focus on fluid body motion and the principles of animation, Daniel successfully replicated a baseball pitch from reference provided to the class by the teacher.

First Cinematic

Created using the Unreal Engine, prefab characters and inputting animations from "Mixamo", Daniel created a cinematic with focus on shot composition, lighting, and storytelling.
