The Tailored Jacket Creating a tailored jacket was a part of my final garment construction course at VCAD. The biggest challenge that I faced during the process was with the fabric I chose. The heavy-weight wool I used was quite bulky for my domestic machine, but overall I was able to complete and present my first tailored jacket. Hand Embroidered Dress For the final garment construction assignment at VCAD, we had creative freedom to choose our fabric and manipulation. I decided to go playful with a white polka dot fabric and to hand embroider flowers along the waistband.
