Vancouver, BC – May 12, 2015 – The Visual College of Art and Design (VCAD) is hosting a one-day workshop on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 9am – 4pm for grade 12 students to receive help on their VCAD scholarship application. Art and design professionals will be on-site to provide their expert opinions throughout the day.

As a passionate supporter of the arts within the community, VCAD is offering up to $150,000 in scholarships to the high school graduating class of 2015. One (1) full-, four (4) half-, and up to fifty (50) partial tuition scholarships will be awarded to the most qualified applicants.

Whether you have just begun the application process, are in the middle of your project and hit a roadblock, or have finished and just want to do a few more touch-ups, all workshop attendees will receive professional feedback from VCAD’s experienced instructors before submitting their scholarship entry. Students will also be able to utilize the school’s technology, materials, and facilities to work on the artwork component of their application.

Interested students are asked to submit a scholarship application package specific to the program they are applying for. VCAD offers art and design programs in: 3D Modeling Animation Art & Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Mobile Game Design & Development, Marketing & Merchandising for Fashion, and Game Development & Design.
