Carlos has over 10 years of experience in project management and the design and construction industry. He has worked in the private and public sectors in project planning, construction, project management, and facilities maintenance coordination. He has a Bachelor in Architecture and in Applied Interior Design.

Designed and built a 1-room, 400 ft² house, made of soil (adobe) in the desert with the assistance of the community. Lead a team of up to 10 community members in this volunteer project to build a house in the desert for volunteers to stay in. Requested the permission to work with Indigenous peoples of the area to build housing in a sacred area of the desert. Housing was completed and volunteers grew 2 tons of corn for the community, including Indigenous peoples.
