VCAD Calgary Welcomes Gallery Artist Hugh

On Wednesday, January 29, VCAD Calgary is excited to welcome new gallery artist, Hugh Rookwood, to present his collection at The Gallery.
A graphic illustrator, inspired by his love of comics and comic books, Hugh is the owner of an illustration and design studio called Chozen Studios.
From concept design and now children’s books, Hugh is skilled in a variety of customized illustrations. Some of these titles include a self-published comic series Apocalypse 4, and a handful of children’s books including Tiesha in the Land Faraway, Kyrel Rode Dragons, and more.
Currently, Hugh is working with an Albertan publisher at Red Barn Books to create a new children’s book — look out for this feature in VCAD’s gallery this month!
