Bedazzled Events by Liza is a Calgary-based party planning service and decoration rental shop for all special occasions from birthday banquets to weddings. They offer rentals such as backdrops and drapery, floral and greenery, specialty linens, stage décor and accessories, and personalized balloon bouquets. Bedazzled Events by Liza works diligently with each client to create glamourous and memorable events. It promises that each event uniquely holds details and an atmosphere that will unite guests in the present moment of joyous and colourful celebration. The following is a fictitious rebrand of the local business. As a small business still in its early years of operations, I saw an opportunity to develop its branding and brand identity to emulate its mission and promise to its target audience. I’ve created a strong and elegant logo with a professional and polished branding system for the business to establish a bold presence in its niche market to compete with similar companies. I’ve developed print and digital marketing campaigns that amplify its brand personality and tone to attract its target audience and allow for business growth.

Here is a collection of my favourite illustration work I’ve done in the past couple of years. Transitioning from traditional to digital illustration has helped me explore the style, composition and colour of my concepts more efficiently. Art is what essentially led me down the path of graphic design thus, I love continuing to practice and experiment with my art style as it is what adds a personal flair to my design projects. I enjoy taking inspiration from other forms of art such as music, along with little everyday things and experiences to create my illustrations.
