Industry-Leading Instructors on Hand for VCAD’s Scholarship Workshop

Vancouver, BC - April 26, 2011 - On April 30, 2011, VCAD will host a one-day workshop to help grade 12 students with the artwork component of their scholarship application. Students will also be able to utilize the school’s facilities to work on their piece. From 11:30am to 5:30pm, VCAD’s instructors will be on hand to give their expert opinion and provide valuable advice.

Students will be assisted and guided by Jeffrey Ellis, award-winning graphic design, Glen Kennedy, a 28-year experienced specialist in animation, Miriam Melanson, the 2005 award-winner of the “Most Inspirational Local Designer”, Trevor Van den Eynden, board member for the Centre for Creative Arts and Russell Heyman, animation producer and developer.
