Vancouver, BC - With graduation just around the corner for thousands of high school seniors across BC, the Visual College of Art and Design has announced that the deadline for its first scholarship giveaway has been extended.
Earlier this spring, the city's newest art and design institute announced that it planned to give away $150 000 in scholarships to Grade 12 students from Lower Mainland high schools this year. Now, high school seniors can take advantage of the scholarship offer and start in the summer session or wait until the fall.
These awards will include up to one full-tuition, four half-tuition scholarships and up to 50 partial-tuitions.
The next VCAD intake session is already planned for the summer with the launch of the launch of the Fashion Design and the Marketing and Merchandising for Fashion programs. In addition, the institute is scheduling the next round of cohorts for the Graphic Design, 3D Modeling Animation and Interior Design programs.
